About me

As President of U.S. Operations for Cultural Care Au Pair, I am responsible for all of Cultural Care Au Pair’s U.S. operations, including customer service, IT, marketing, sales, the Cultural Care Training School, finance/budgeting and human resource management. In addition, I work closely with our overseas partners to ensure the quality of our au pair candidate pool.

Having built my career at EF Education since 1992, I have had the great opportunity to hold several key positions within the company over the past 15 years. Based in Stockhom, Sweden in 1997, I headed up EF’s new Internet development team as Vice President for Internet Language. I put my French to good use managing EF’s Paris office as Directeur Général for EF France. And back in the States based in Boston, I enjoyed the challenge of running Educational Homestay Programs, a short term home stay courses for international students.

In addition to my operational roles in different areas of the company, I have enjoyed my involvement in management and leadership training courses for EF’s middle and senior management groups. As a facilitator, trainer and mentor, I have had the pleasure of working with a generation of EF leaders from diverse parts of the company.

Though a native New Englander, I am a proud graduate of Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and was honored to receive a Fulbright Fellowship for further study and teaching in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
